pyarrow.chunked_array(arrays, type=None)#

Construct chunked array from list of array-like objects

Parameters:

arraysArray, list of Array, or array-like: Must all be the same data type. Can be empty only if type also passed. Any Arrow-compatible array that implements the Arrow PyCapsule Protocol (has an __arrow_c_array__ or __arrow_c_stream__ method) can be passed as well.
typeDataType or str coercible to DataType

Returns:

ChunkedArray
